When I was 19 I became pregnant for the first time. Our first thoughts were to have an abortion because of how scared we were at the thought of not being able to raise our child. We both researched options and after could not decide to abort. |

We decided adoption would be the best for our litter Cameron. Through Adoption Star we met the best couple in the world! They had been trying for years to start a family, and we knew right away that they would be able to love my son the way I would AND provide him with everything he needed.
His adoptive parents keep in contact every month with letters and pictures. We are also going to get to see him next weekend and after if we choose. In retrospect, adoption is the hardest decision a mother can make, but it is also the best if you are not completely ready for motherhood. I thank the father of my son, who I am still with, for helping in the decision and everyone else involved.
